Print 1. The Chase
The “Three Hunters” was the name Aragorn gave to himself, Legolas, and Gimli when they began pursuing the Uruk-hai who had captured Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took by Nen Hithoel at the Breaking of the Fellowship.
The Three Hunters set out from Nen Hithoel they followed the Uruks’ trail through the night across the Emyn Muil, where they found five Orcs who had been slain by their own company. At dawn, they reached the East Wall of Rohan and descended into the Eastemnet. There, Aragorn found Pippin’s Elven brooch, which the hobbit had dropped as a sign to any of the Fellowship who might follow them and on the journey went…
Print 2. Helms Deep.
The Battle of the Hornburg took place at the mountain fortress of the Hornburg in the valley of Helm’s Deep in Rohan. Taking place over the night of the 3-4 March T.A. 3019, it saw the attacking Isengard-host of Saruman defeated by the Rohirrim led by Théoden and Erkenbrand.
Print 3. Oathbreakers of the White Mountains.
The Dead Men of Dunharrow or Men of the Mountains were Men of the White Mountains cursed to remain in Middle-earth by Isildur, after they abandoned their oath to aid him in the War of the Last Alliance. They haunted the caverns beneath the Dwimorberg, and the valley of Harrowdale that lay in its shadow, though they were said to appear in the valley only in times of trouble or death. They were led by the King of the Dead. Since the line of Isildur was thought in the late Third Age to have ended, no one could call upon the Dead Men of Dunharrow to aid them in their hours of need, as they would only answer to an Heir of Isildur.
