This manuscript depicts Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas appearing before Theoden in the Golden Hall where Gandalf heals the king.
The King is then restored his nephew, takes up his sword, and led the Riders of Rohan into battle at Helm’s Deep.
This was the VERY FIRST interpreted painting from the initial dreams of Middle Earth and was stop/start project over a 2 year period.
So as you would imagine it holds a very special place in my heart.
